It's not only fantastic for golf lovers but the rest of the family as well. Golfers can enjoy some time on the fairways while loved ones explore all of the fascinating options that the town has to offer.

Kent's Big Three should be on every golfers' Bucket List. Royal St George's is one of the purest links courses in the game, and arguably England's No.1 course 2020 will make it the fifteenth time it has hosted the Open.
Nearby Royal Cinque Ports has an equally fearsome reputation and one of the toughest back-nines in golf, while the 27-hole complex at Princes is the perfect place for a day ticket.
Alternatively, two miles to the south, sitting high up on the famous White Cliffs, the renowned golf course architect James Braid designed a gem, Walmer and Kingsdown offers a very playable course in truly magnificent surroundings. Offering challenges for all abilities you'll enjoy refreshing sea breezes and incredible views of the English Channel.

The Royal St. George's Golf Club boasts a superb 18-hole course that is suitable for players of all standards. The Club has a distinguished golfing history and has hosted amateur and professional tournaments since the 1880s. The club is one of England's finest links courses and has played host to The Open Championship fourteen times. The undulating fairways and fast, true greens will prove a test to all amateur and professional golfers alike. Designed by William Laidlaw Purves in 1887, it has constantly evolved to pose a tough test for championship and more modest players alike. In common with many links, it's characterised by humps and swales, dunes and wild rough, fast-running fairways and deep bunkers. Demanding carries put a premium on strong driving, but even with such uncompromising terrain, properly flighted and directed shots will always find their target and leave a clear line to the green.

Golf as nature intended. Royal Cinque Ports is a Championship links course of the highest standard with a classic out and back layout. Its fast rolling fairways and superb greens have stood the test of time and provide a stiff challenge. In a prevailing wind, the last seven holes are reputed to be amongst the toughest in golf. Twice host to the Open and steeped in history, yet very welcoming and with a lovely atmosphere in the clubhouse, it offers superb golf all year round.

Prince's Golf Club offers a 27-hole Championship Golf Course that runs along the beautiful coastline. The course is split into three nine-hole courses, Shore, Dunes and Himalayas, all of which have wonderful history and prove a tough test. In the past, Princes has held a number of Major tournaments including The Open Championship and The Amateur Championship. This incredible course retains superb conditions all year round, a must for all links lovers. Prince's friendly clubhouse has lovely views over the course and Pegwell Bay.
